Man's best friend? Duct tape.
Dan and my dad were getting Jane dressed after her bath last night. Apparently, Jane's diaper tab ripped off so the men did the most logical thing- they grabbed the duct tape.
This is what I saw when I entered the room. I didn't say anything. I just got the camera.
Of course, it did the trick. I had a really hard time changing that thing this morning.
I guess we'll know what to do now if Jane tries to take her diaper off again.

ooh, that brings back memories! maya was a notorious diaper ditcher. she'd take it off and poop EVERYWHERE. it was horrible. so she was duct taped 24/7 for a while. first just over the tabs, but she figured that out. so then round & round, but then she'd take it off like underwear. finally, i'd have to duct tape her tight enough that she couldn't shimmy out or remove the tape. luckily, we have NOT had this problem with masey.
that is hilarious! i never would have thought to do that.

Ha, ha! I new some friends that even went so far as to duct tape their newborn's blanket to keep her swaddled all night.
