So We Know You Can't Dance

On Christmas Night after our big fancy dinner we had a dance competition based on the popular tv show, "So you think you can dance." A week before we all drew dance styles out of a hat and we had a week to practice for the competition. Costumes were mandatory.

Beth and Gregory were by far the cutest couple. I would say they probably won best dance as well, their style was swing. They actually used real dance steps and followed the beat of the music, etc.

Michael and Courtney did the Napolean Dynamite Dance for their Hip Hop routine. Their shirts read "Vote for Pedro." They were hilarious and Courtney seemed to really know what she was doing.

For some reason I have had people requesting me to put pictures of myself on this blog. My answer is always, who wants to see me big and pregnant? Well, whether you want to or not here I am . . . yikes, in sequins no less. Our dance style was disco, can't you tell by Jeromy's shirt unbuttoned to his navel? Our dance was not pretty, but Jeromy never broke character.

Paul and Heather did a contemporary dance. Paul was actually leaping through the air. I was impressed by his spread.

Tyler and Stephen were the last to perform. I don't know how I failed to document their costumes, Stephen wore Davey's soccer shirt, it was a tight, belly shirt on him. And Tyler wore Beth's short red sequin Junior Prom Dress. I don't remember the last time I laughed so hard. This night was one of the funniest nights of my life. We may not be talented, but we definitely know how to enjoy ourselves.
